Today 12 August 2022, Papa Moussa Tall, (Head of Delegation, IFRC Cluster Delegation for South Sudan, Uganda and Tanzania, Juba) through Strengthening the NS Digital Engagement Capabilities Project, has handed over 3 Laptops, 1 USB-C Mobile Mini Dock station, 2 Headsets, 2 MIFI Modems, 2 SIMACARDs with a 1-year Internet bundle each as well as capacitating TRCS HQ with the upgrade of the internet speed from 30Mbps to 50Mpbs where this service has been paid for 1 year. All these items aimed at making efficient communication of the President and the Secretary General as well as strengthening the efficiency operation of the ICT Unit and TRCS HQ.

The Secretary General of the Tanzania Red Cross Society Mr. Felician Mtahengerwa has received three laptops from the ICRC as part of supporting Organization Development. Mr.Fabien Number who is the Head of Mission ICRC, Tanzania handed over these laptops to TRCS headquarters today.

TRCS Secretary General * Mr. Felician Mtahengerwa * meets with a member of the BRC Board (MNEC) and held talks in his office and later held a meeting with heads of Departments and Units where the Secretary-General provided an opportunity for Heads of Departments to present the good work being done by TRCS under Belgian Red Cross funding.

Ms.Sofie hopes to reunite with Mr. Filip Weyers, Vice President of the BRC for a nine-days visit to the various projects they are funding in Kigoma region.
