TRCS president Hon.David M.Kihenzile welcomed cyclists at TRCS Headquarters while heading to the commemorative memorial celebration of 60 years of Tanzania Mainland Independence.

On 2^nd December 2021, the president of Tanzania Red Cross Society Hon. David M. Kihenzile welcomed cyclists from East and Southern Africa who have arrived at the offices of the Tanzania Red Cross Society Headquarters in Dar es Salaam to thank TRCS for its contribution on humanitarian services while heading to the commemorative memorial celebration of 60 years of Tanzania Mainland Independence.

Hon. president of TRCS congratulated them on celebrating 60 years of Independence of Mainland Tanzania by cycling from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, Coastal regions, Lindi and Mtwara while promoting the issue of Blood Donation and COVID-19 vaccine to the citizens of the visited regions by supporting the government's efforts in accessing safe blood and the COVID-19 vaccine.

In the cycling competition, TRCS will be involved in first aid provision, mobilizing blood donations, encouraging citizens to acquire COVID-19 vaccine and insuring the availability of an ambulance.
