20.07.2024: 2ND QUARTER TRCS NEC MEETING HELD AT THE TRCS HEARDQUARTERS BOARD ROOM
During the TRCS NEC meeting held today, 20th July 2024 at TRCS HQ Conference Room, Tanzania Red Cross Society declared that the construction of 35 houses for landslide victims in Hanang District, Manyara Region, is 70 percent complete. These houses, costing over 1 billion shillings, are in the final stages of construction and will soon be handed over.
Speaking on behalf of the president of the Tanzania Red Cross, CPA Japhet Shirima stated that the organization is implementing eight different projects to support the community, including this housing project, which aligns with the government's initiative to build 100 houses for the victims.
