Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS) staffs and volunteers in Unguja Island conducted a Heatwave Awareness Campaign focusing on people with albinism, who are more vulnerable to the harmful effects of extreme sunlight and heat.

During the outreach, the team shared important health education on how to stay safe during heatwaves and distributed protective equipment such as hats, umbrellas , and bottles of water to help protect their skin and bodies from direct sunlight.
